Welcome to the home of the Chorleywood Classic & Supercar Show.
In its fourth year, and at the new venue of Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club, last Saturday’s show attracted record numbers of both exhibits & members of the general public.
It also raised £7,358 for local charity Peace Hospice Care, itself a new record for the show. In addition, £1,000 was also raised for Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club.
The sun shone brightly all day on over 400 classic and supercars and an estimated 1,000 visitors. A startling display of cars apart – ranging from a much-loved 1960 Mini with its original owner to no less than six Jensen Interceptors – the show had a festival feel to it, with a live jazz band, barbeque, bar and picnics.
Show founder and organiser and Chorleywood resident, Guy Davis, said:
“The show is firmly established as both a community event and a classic car show in its own right. We were thrilled with the day and the amount raised, together with the support of our lead sponsors DK Engineering and Savills, Rickmansworth and our many helpers on the day.
“With a growing event and a new venue, inevitably there were logistical challenges. We had no idea that so many more people than last year would visit which placed unexpected pressure on the local roads. It wasn’t helped by people ignoring no parking signs and therefore causing obstructions, but we are committed to working with the local authorities to ensure that next year, an adequate traffic system and visitor parking will be in place.”
This year’s show has been confirmed for 16 July 2016.
See the Gallery Page for pictures of the day and some of the vehicles exhibited.
The show was held on and around the pitches of Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club. The exact map location for this year can be seen here.

I have lived in Chorleywood all my life and have been fortunate to own a number of classic cars.
This is a chance for like-minded motor enthusiasts to get together. A community event for all the family.
